British Actress Rachel Weisz has been signed to play Jackie Onassis Kennedy in a new biopic scheduled to release later this year!! I think Weisz is a great actress and actually bears an interesting resemblance to the beloved original queen of fashion, so I'm actually on board with a big budget casting decision for once.
Also - to state the completely obvious - how amazing will the art design and fashion be?? I wonder who will be tapped to do the set and costume design? Hopefully the same folks who do Mad Men; afterall, they did more than a spectacular job in A Single Man.
OMG. Can't wait.
