Goddam, I'm five shades of obsessed with Noomi Rapace's portrayal of Lisbeth Salander in the film adaptations of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy. Perhaps because she glorifies the pure Gothic style that has been seemingly dormant in mainstream culture for many years now, yet was the pulse of my teenage dreams? Or maybe because she has the stylish gravitas that only a brilliant & scorned soul would possess and use to their advantage. Or maybe it's because Lisbeth just don't give a fuck, which is apparent in the lack of dull moments throughout the trilogy (particularly when she is being a complete badass and shooting people n' stuff).
And don't even get me started on the leather jacket she dons in about 75% of the series. Ohhhh gurl....
